Today, is a great day, because, i manged to podfly at least a good 100m away. Can actually see myself moving a big distance on the minimap.
But i think abit cheat sia coz its like u just end up behind ALL enemy infantry and den the knifing begins.

OK heres the news to all members.

Regarding this podflying issue.. as far as possible, i urge members to avoid doing it. Its good to be aware of this technique..but i will not advocate u guys use it to the extreme. Its very difficult to judge the distance (50m), so i would recommend u not use it too often. If ur beacon is placed near a building, its alright to podfly abit to get to the roof.
However, please do not :

1) podfly a crazy distance ( like 100 or 200? come 'on 51m isnt even allowed)
2) podfly from one capture point to another ( theres no 2 capture points which are less than 50m apart so dont try doing that )

Different 2142 servers have different rulings about podflying so i would strongly advice u not do it at all.
For ur info, the Malaysian Battlefield Community servers does not allow ANY podflying or podsurfing. There are admin players who frequent the server and u might very well get marked or banned.
The admins of EASG servers are taking this issue very seriously as well.. and it would be very regrettable indeed if any of our members get banned for a podflying offence.

hey yea i think i got banned from malaysian server cause i said f** to many times heh. You have been banned from this server by an admin for excessive teamkilling or blah blah. then three days later i got back in and learnt my lesson =p

i think first time offence get kicked out of server then second is a 3 day ban next offence is perma ban from server but not sure if its soldier or cdkey

Ya i guess its better just not to podfly. Got 2 questions, does it work for APC pods? Whats the meaning of stats padding? Seen this term in some server rules but dunno what it means.

I believe podflying works for all pods. And if i didn't understand wrongly, i think stats padding means altering stats on your own. Like, let's say i wanna get 50000000 knife kills, then i just make sure my fren gets to the other side. Then we meet at some wulu place on the map and i start knifing him until i feel high. Anyone can clarify if i got it correct? =S

Illegal? isn't illegal stuff like banned?
Btw u know KAIN is the 2142 ranked 1 rite, his score is like way above the ranked 2. I read somewhere about how he got his high score. He uses a script that makes him get the commander role in every single game. So he just hides somewhere in the titan with all those barriers, goes AFK and be commander 24/7. Commander gets a score in every game regardless the team win/lose. Thats how he got the high score. Somehow mutiny doesn't work. What they did was either to team kill him, or get a bunch of medics to "push" him out of the titan.
