stupid lag

ahh man some problem with my cod4!

everytime i play cod4..its for like just a couple of rounds.. because just as im set into the cod4 mood..this stupid lag overwhelms my cod4 time and time again!!
my ping which is usually around 50 ( k less than a 100) suddenly jumps up to 180-250. The worst part- its not a lag spike, it remains that way forever!!!!! so there u go basically u cant do anything ingame cos u would be like lagging heavily ingame( and i mean heavily. u cant aim, u click the shoot button and a bullet comes out only like 4secs later).

zzzz. so i alt-tab, and i check to see if its because of my internet connection.. and it so happens that when i click the internet icon to check its status at the windows bar.. i see the packets remaining the same for like freaking long. The number just remains stagnant.. it doesnt move well ok mayb it does.. mayb like move 5-10 packets in like a freaking long 5-10 mins.

wth is going on sigh. anyone with the same problem? solutions anyone? =(
its really affecting gameplay

seems like yr comp got spyware wor.

1) scan yr comp with AVG anti spyware.

2) do a scan for virus.

3) do a disk defragmenter for yr hard drive.

btw, u upgrade to 2gb liao bo?

Doubt it's spyware. if spyware not only internet will be slow, whole pc. 2gb now dirt cheap, get 4gb! i had this problem before. it's the server problem i think

i kinda thinks it like a problem with my internet connection and the server.

could it be spyware?
after that incident i can quit game and play bf2142 smoothly. but when i go back.. the problem persist again. i must either reset com.. or wait awhile..than the problem will be solved.. not before it happens again.

it's like 30 for 1 gb now la. hmm, i suspect it's the server that screws up the com. u updated to the latest alr. try dling the latest gfx drivers also

erm sometimes its the connection with the server.. i have this problem sometimes in bf2142.. my lag was like going up to 400..then keep on maintaining above 150.. got once spike to 800 tiok kick..

my connection to cod nothing much. so far havent spike like crazy. nothing wrong with me my connection or my gfx

not as bad as mine right..play half way kena black screen of death then need to reboot - -

ddr2 1gb at most 30-35. depends on which shop u go to sls. now even got 2gb modules alr, but ex. 130+ i think. upgrading ram is the most worthit since ddr3 will be coming out soon. ddr1 slightly more ex i think. go check HWZ pricelist lor
