New SgAF Logo for this forum?

Hey guys, just visited bf nut , jedi etc links and felt tt their clan logos are damn slick.
Was wondering if we should revamp our SgAF logo to make it look pro and chio. Not tt the current one is not good, just that it could be improved on. A nice logo can add to the clan pride and unique identity to boot.

Any suggestions or ideas on how to "zeng" our logo is greatly appreciated?

haha to be exact.. we have been considering the need for a clan logo since the very beginnning.. a real one yes
the logo u see being used here is NOT our clan logo.. haha its just a temporary forum logo
i was hoping that someone with appreciable design skills would help to create a decent clan logo..
ive tried scouting the net for logos.. logo factory and all that stuff but most are too generic.
i guess everyone would want something unique
im also looking for a small quote, a motto or a slogan ( a few words) under the logo

Logo + Graphic + Motto = Win.

If you are in the Singapore Air Force (which I take it is what SgAF stands for) you probably have access to facilities that make dogtags. Why not buy/make a dogtag with a simple "SgAF" centered horizontally and vertically, take a pic w/a digital cam or scan it, and voila.

haha hey ur ideas not too bad..but we're looking for something unique.. some nice, simple yet unique logo that we can put on the forum or even as part of our future shirt design
best if it would be like a commercial logo..
hydriz also had design that includes the use of dogtag in the design..
best if can get a design pro to craft a really nice one haha

this reminds me..have to clarify something also.. seen alot of other versions of our clan name.. SGaf, Sgaf, SgAf or some other sgaf

I know a guy who designs entire websites, from the code up to the graphics, could probably get him to do it for $20USD. Here's one of his sites:

I do play around with photoshop and dun mind trying to design the logo.
however, i need some general direction as to what do you guys want.
I'd suggest a combat knife and ID tags. If you guys need help, do let me know.

hmm, perhaps we could discuss this logo issue on our next clan meeting(hopefully soon) ? its be fun and interesting to hear everyone's view on their direction to go for the logo thingy.
